About Me
I have extensive experience with Category Management, Retail Merchandising, Procurement, Brand Building, New Venture Development, and leading strong cross-functional teams to success.
Prior to leading high-growth snack food companies as CEO, I worked for Sobeys and Safeway in Canada and in the USA across a range of retail roles that included category management, private label, procurement, retail merchandising, brand development, operations management, and team leadership.
One of my more recent successes was working with a talented team, in a venture capital backed venture, to create and launch Spokes. The Spokes brand of puffed potato snacks went on to win the Retail Council of Canada’s Grand Prix New Item Award as the best new product in Canada in the snack category, and then we built out distribution across over 8,000 quality locations in Canada and the USA.
My unique experience base in Retail AND Consumer Packaged Goods provides a powerful and different perspective for Consumer Packaged Goods companies to wanting to win at retail AND with their consumer.
